I think making memories with our children is one of the most important things that we can do in their childhood. Whether it is establishing family traditions around the holidays or a simple cherished bedtime routine, it is important for children to know and feel their importance. As my family and I enjoy various activities I find myself nothing short of obsessed with taking photographs. It is such a wonderful way to capture the time and moments that we spend doing fun things together. It is truly a gift to be able to relive those moments by looking through the thousands of photos that I have taken over the years.

There are many different ways and reasons to preserve our photos. In this digital age that we are in, for some people it is as simple as taking the pictures and organizing them in files on their computers. One of my favorite ways to share my photos is by posting them on my Facebook page. It allows my friends and family that don’t live near us to keep up with the things we are doing and how quickly the children are changing. It also gives me the peace of mind of having a second storage site if anything were to happen to my computer.

Another one of my favorite ways to display and preserve my photos is by scrapbooking. Whether you have actually done any scrapbooking yourself or not, you have certainly heard of and seen some of the amazing things that people are doing with this amazing art. I really like the journaling that you are able to include when you do a scrapbook page. It allows you to tell a little bit about what is going on in the photos being displayed. This has become a very popular hobby over the past several years, and one that myself and millions of other (mostly) women really enjoy. Now if I could just figure out how to make the time to catch up all that I am behind!!
