Hello sunshines! I’m Kira, a work-at-home mom and sassy wife. I am blessed to enjoy the antics of my beautiful, tenacious daughter Hallie, as well as my husband, Louis, who is from Nottingham, UK. This international relationship has been nothing short of adventure, and the mish-mashed cultures have become a huge part of my life.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, so I have a great background that I draw on to help be a better parent. At the very least, I can objectively know why my toddler is screaming, even if subjectively, I want to scream with her. I’ve taken time away from my career to focus on my personal goals and family, and I will eventually be pursuing a degree in marriage and family therapy. My main goal is to help families, and I hope that through writing for you I can get a head start on doing that.
I’m a bold person; I love to travel, and I never hesitate in expressing my blunt opinions. My writing really doesn’t reflect how much I curse, and I’m a huge fan of handing out reality checks. As a relatively new mom, I’m just trying my best. I’m still trying to figure motherhood out, as well as where I fit not only as a mom, but as an individual.
Thanks for joining me on this journey, and I hope that I make you laugh as hard as I make myself laugh.
