Getting Real with Shadra Bruce
As a US Family Guides partner, I am occasionally afforded the opportunity to learn about new products and share my evaluation with you. I recently received a supply of Dr. Jacobs Naturals soaps, which are all-natural and made in the U.S.
Having never heard of the company before, I was thrilled to receive full-size products. It’s often hard to tell from sample sizes whether or not a product is really as good as it seems.
Well let me tell you, Dr. Jacobs Naturals are as good as they seem.
My favorite of the three I received was the Peppermint Castile Liquid Soap. Almost too thick for a pump bottle, it’s like having an aromatherapy session in the shower. I absolutely loved the feel, the smell, and the lack of chemical ingredients in this product. Equally luxurious was the almond honey castile liquid soap, which made my skin feel incredibly soft. And you know how they talk about the nasty bacteria that grows in loofah sponges? Well, you can throw yours away and replace it with the Coco Loco Limeage Loofah Exfoliating Castile Soap, because it works far better than any loofah I ever owned.
But what really impressed me was the commitment to quality ingredients. No parabens. No petrochemicals. No sulfates. No Phthalates. 100% cruelty free. And recycled paper. You can’t even feel guilty spoiling yourself with those kinds of environmentally friendly promises.
I don’t accept a lot of review products these days, and there are several that I’ve received and said to myself, “If you can’t say anything good, don’t say anything at all.”
But Dr. Jacobs Naturals are in my bathroom to stay and I’m almost due for another bottle of the peppermint soap, because wow, is it to die for.
MomsGetReal readers can give Dr. Jacobs Naturals a try, too.
I hope you get a chance to spoil yourself!
