Disclaimer: while I am often provided with products to review, I am in no way being compensated for sharing my opinions. I am often requested to review products, and my policy has always been honesty. Working off my mom’s advice, “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all,” if the product is bad enough to have a negative review, I simply do not publish anything.
I offer this little disclaimer because I think it’s really easy for people to assume that the person conducting a review is only doing it because they’ve been bribed to do so, and that’s simply not the case. If I’ve featured the product on my site, it is because I have tried it, read it, sampled it, bought it myself, and otherwise believe it meets high enough standards to recommend. My recommendation alone, however, should only be one factor in your decision to purchase or try a product, and you should perform your own due diligence in deciding what products and services work best with your family.
